After 10 years, Sony has put an end to the sales of its handheld gaming device. Sony made the announcement on Tuesday that PSP will not be sold or produced anymore.
The PSP has seen many updates over the years, but since Sony is increasingly putting more of an emphasis on the sleek, new PlayStation Vita, the older device is inevitably getting obsolete.
Sony already stopped all PSP shipments to North America in January, it will end shipments in Japan this month and in Europe within the next few months.
Over the last few years, the PSP did show decreasing sales leading Sony to reduce the price.
