Nigerian is in scare quotes because Tomato Jos’ creators are actually American. But who cares where you’re from if you’ve figured out a way to harness Nigerian tomatoes — an agricultural resource that goes to monumental waste every year. If Tomato Jos works, it will take Nigerian tomatoes to the rest of the world, and create heaps of value for Nigerian farmers along the way. Again, this has to be the coolest Nigerian kickstarter I have ever seen.

I couldn’t agree more. Check out the (amazing) video. Spoiler — watch out for the Flavour “tomato jos” sample at the end.
And of course, back the project on Kickstarter. Within barely a week, Tomato Jos is already almost 50 percent funded, and with 23 days to go, it certainly will be.
