    WhatsApp Now Has a Voice Call Feature

    The long awaited voice call feature has arrived, though it’s still in beta testing. To use this feature, you first have to upgrade your Whatsapp and then have an someone who has the feature enabled on their phones give you a call.

    GigaOM Goes Off the Grid

    The online tech news and analysis site, GigaOM, has shut down due to lack of cash. They have been unable to pay their creditors, and industry experts envisage that the site will be up for sale soon.

    Huawei marine network has been contracted by Equatorial Guinea to help boost their telecommunication infrastructure by building a high speed Ceiba-2 submarine cable system.
