Five Nigerian startups have made it into MITx Global Entrepreneurship bootcamp set to hold this month in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
ITnewsAfrica reports that, MIT selected 50 participants from 24 countries out of which five participants were chosen from Nigeria.
The startups include Bus Stop, a navigation solutions startup, Slatecube, Verdant; an Ag-tech startup, Aajoh and ThinkAndZoom, a wearable technology startup.
MITx Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is a platform that connects entrepreneurs around the world to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Previous participants at the bootcamp program have started 25,600 companies, while generating about $2 trillion in revenue.
