    South Africa’s VOD service, Wabona announced today that it was closing shop. No one saw it coming and Wabona gave no reason why, but it does appear the heat in that space is beginning to melt some players away.  Meanwhile, Barclays Africa wants to accelerate African financial and health tech startups.
