Lagos-based startup, Stutern, is an online platform that connects interns with employers with available  internship positions. Think of it as online job board for interns.

Stutern indexes the details of interns looking for internship positions and also curates a list of employers offering internship opportunities.

The website features an option where students’ can register, insert their profiles, search for internships and subsequently apply. The website currently has 20 internship positions advertised and the job functions cuts across different professions i.e. Engineering, Medicine, Law, Social Media etc.

“It’s simple. We will do the job of getting loads of internship opportunities, all you have to do is hit the APPLY button,” the Stutern team says on the website.

Employers also have an avenue to recruit interns by providing company details, post internship openings and search for candidates. The employers can also recruit from any state in Nigeria via a drop-down menu box.

Stutern will have to contend with the likes of Jobberman and Push CV, two leading job boards in Nigeria. Notwithstanding, Stutern’s focus on the internship vertical clearly leaves it out of the crosshairs of the other two job listing behemoth.

The company was founded in 2014 and is currently working out of the Lagos-based coworking space, CcHub.
