Wake up and Smell the Coffee, a thought-sharing and leadership programme for Nigerian undergraduates will hold its 2015 edition at the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan.
The event is tailored for final year students with the theme: “Skills set for a Global Economy”. Organizers say it will equip attendants with skills relevant in a modern Economy.
Jovago’s MD/CEO, Marek Zmyslowski, Oluseun Onigbinde – (Budgit), and Andela’s Iyinoluwa Aboyeji will speak at the event. Other speakers are O. O. Nwoye – (Call Base), Oluyomi Ojo – (Printivo), and Amaka Kentebe of Scuup.

The event, now in its 6th year will have 4000 participants from six universities in the South-West, and aims to beam the light on the entrepreneurial opportunities in such sectors as: finance, technology, media, and fashion. This year’s edition will feature an hackathon involving five teams given 24 hours to come up with creative solutions to problems in the areas of health and education.
According to the Event’s Organizer, Mr. Emeka Ossai, “We have added this Hackathon element to the Event this year to challenge students to turn problems around them into ideas.”
