Hellofood Uganda, an online food ordering and delivery platform, has included the V-work tracker tool to beef up its delivery operations.
The software is an in-house proprietary tracker through which delivery riders can be assigned and tracked by Hellofood’s operations team, Pctechmag reports.
“The software also helps streamline the dispatch process for the riders and thus operation system is now more efficient,” said Ron Kawamara, Managing Director HelloFood Uganda.
“This technology also helps the company maintain a level of transparency with customers who may be anxiously waiting on their meals and would like to inquire how far along it will be before their meal arrives either to their office or home; as we are now able to accurately communicate with customers about their arrival of their meal, with accurate follow-ups,” Ron added.
Hellofood, a food delivery marketplace is a Rocket Internet-backed startup headquartered in Berlin, Germany, and operates in 40 countries.
