Today, Jumia Kenya announced the appointment of Sam Chappatte as the new Managing Director.
Sam Chappatte, who was Managing Director of New Countries, will be replacing Parinaz Firozi who was hired two years ago. His role, which was to build Jumia’s brand in 6 countries across Africa – Ghana, Uganda, Cameroon, Tanzania, Senegal and Algeria, will now be focused on building the company’s base in Kenya.
